Plumbing
Plumbing software for service calls and replacements
Plumbing calls arrive urgent, and the decision on site is often repair, replace or upgrade. FieldCX books the emergency from the CSR queue while the customer is still on the phone, puts all three options on one estimate at the door, and collects payment before the van leaves.
Where plumbing jobs lose money
Four leaks on plumbing jobs
The biggest one often happens before anyone reaches the house: an urgent call that waits too long for an answer.
The burst pipe that called someone else
A missed call at 7 AM becomes a job for the next company on the list. In FieldCX, missed calls are flagged for a call back in the CSR queue, and first-response time is tracked by marketing source.
Repaired when they'd have replaced
The technician patches a 12-year-old water heater because nobody showed the replacement. In FieldCX, Good, Better and Best sit on every estimate, side by side.
The damage dispute
A customer says the floor was fine before the visit. In FieldCX, a property damage report with photos and the customer's signature is attached to the job.
Cash in the van for a week
Payments collected on site wait days to be handed in. In FieldCX, each payment is tracked to the technician holding it until it is handed in and deposited.

From the call to the books
How a plumbing job runs in FieldCX
Answered, logged, booked
Every unlogged call needs a disposition before the CSR moves on, and call recordings play back for managers.2
Call intakeEmergencies fitted into the day
The board shows each technician's capacity, so dispatch sees where an emergency fits without breaking the rest of the day.
DispatchQuote, work and close on the phone
Check-in shows drive time and parts missing from the truck. Job timer, photos and signature are on the same screen as the estimate.
Technician appThe books match the field
Invoices, payments and job costs post as the work happens, with receivables aging and bank reconciliation in the same system.
AccountingPricing and switching
One price per technician, every feature included
US$129 per technician and US$99 for every other user, per month, with accounting, inventory and every app included. We bring your customers, equipment and price book across during implementation.
Questions
Plumbing software questions
Can our CSRs book emergency calls faster?
Calls, texts and web leads land in one CSR queue. Missed calls are flagged for a call back, first-response time is tracked by source, and the CSR sees the next seven days of open slots while the caller is on the line.
Can plumbers show repair and replacement options on site?
Yes. Every estimate carries Good, Better and Best, for example repair, replace, or replace with an upgrade. The customer signs on the device, by email, or picks a date to decide, which sets a follow-up reminder.
Does FieldCX record property damage?
Yes. Technicians can complete a property damage report with photos and the customer's signature, attached to the job.
Can technicians collect payment before they leave?
Yes, by cash, check or card. Card payments are processed by Stripe and need your own Stripe account. Every cash and check payment is tracked to the technician holding it until it is handed in and deposited.
What does FieldCX cost for a plumbing company?
US$129 per technician per month and US$99 per month for every other user, such as dispatchers, CSRs, helpers and stores staff. Implementation is a one-time charge quoted for your setup. Prices exclude taxes.
Notes
1. Card payments are processed by Stripe and need your own Stripe account. Stripe's fees apply.
2. Calls and texts need a RingCentral account. Call recording depends on your plan and on the recording and consent laws where you and your callers are.
Checklists and screens shown are examples. Prices as of November 2026, in US dollars, excluding taxes.
