Marine
Marine service software for engines, vessels and docks
Marine work happens at the dock, the marina or the yard, and every engine carries its own hours and history. FieldCX keeps each vessel and engine on the customer record, logs hours and fluids on every visit, stocks the parts your technicians carry, and posts every job to your books.
Where marine jobs lose money
Four leaks on marine service work
Marine jobs carry expensive parts and long histories. Both are easy to lose between the service desk, the parts room and the dock.
Engine history in three places
Hours are on a tag, the last service is in an email and the warranty is in a drawer. In FieldCX, each engine is equipment on the customer record, with its visits, estimates and invoices linked.
Special-order parts not billed
A lower unit seal kit is ordered for one boat and never reaches its invoice. In FieldCX, purchase orders and supplier bills are tied to the job, and materials used are reconciled before it closes.
Warranty work given away
A return visit is done free with no record of whether it was covered. In FieldCX, warranty periods for parts and labor are stamped on the original job, and the return visit is linked to it.
Payment chased after splash-in
The boat is back in the water and the invoice is still unpaid. In FieldCX, payment can be a required closeout check, collected by cash, check or card1 before the job is submitted.
Closeout
Hours, fluids and the dock test on every service
Set the checks for an engine service, a repower and a winterization. The technician can't submit the job to the service desk until they're done.

Questions
Marine service software questions
Can FieldCX keep a history for each vessel and engine?
Yes. Vessels and engines are kept on the customer record as equipment, with model and serial, and every visit, estimate and invoice is linked to them. Engine hours, fluids and filters are captured by the closeout checklist.
Can we work at marinas, docks and boatyards?
Each customer can have several sites, so the marina, dock or yard is recorded as the site on the visit, and technicians see where to go.
Does FieldCX handle parts inventory?
Yes. Stores, truck stock, material requests, picking and transfers are built in, with low and out-of-stock alerts, and supplier bills and purchase orders tied to the job.
How are warranty repairs handled?
Warranty periods for parts and labor are stamped on the job when it is authorized. A return visit is linked to the original job, so dispatch sees whether it is covered.
What does FieldCX cost for a marine service company?
US$129 per technician per month and US$99 per month for every other user, such as service writers, parts staff and helpers. Implementation is a one-time charge quoted for your setup. Prices exclude taxes.
Notes
1. Card payments are processed by Stripe and need your own Stripe account. Stripe's fees apply.
2. Axon AI by LogsNX commentary is a starting point for your technician to check and doesn't replace an inspection.
3. Calls and texts need a RingCentral account. Call recording depends on your plan and on local recording and consent laws.
Checklists and screens shown are examples. Prices as of November 2026, in US dollars, excluding taxes.
