Landscaping
Landscaping software for crews, materials and the season
Landscaping runs on crews, equipment and materials bought by the yard and the pallet. FieldCX assigns the crew and the trailer to each visit, logs every helper's hours, and costs the mulch, stone and plants that actually went in the ground, so you know which jobs made money.
Where landscaping jobs lose money
Four leaks on landscaping jobs
On crew work, the margin disappears in hours and materials that nobody counted against the job.
Crew hours nobody costed
Three helpers spend a day on a job priced for two. In FieldCX, helpers check in and out per activity, and their hours are costed to the job before commission or profit is worked out.
Materials over the estimate
Four extra yards of mulch go down and the invoice shows the estimate. In FieldCX, materials planned and used are compared on each work order before the job closes.
One trailer, two crews
Two crews are booked with the same trailer on the same morning. In FieldCX, equipment is assigned to visits on the board alongside the people.
No photos when the customer disputes
A customer says the bed was never finished. In FieldCX, before and after photos can be a required check, so every job has them.

Irrigation, installs and clean-ups, each with its own checks
Set the checks for an irrigation repair, a planting install and a seasonal clean-up. The crew lead sees what's left before the crew drives away.

Questions
Landscaping software questions
Can FieldCX schedule crews rather than single technicians?
Yes. Each visit can have a lead technician, helpers and equipment such as trailers and mowers assigned to it. Helpers check in and out per activity, so their hours are costed to the job.
Can we track materials in the units we buy them?
Items can be set up in the units you buy and sell them, such as cubic yards, pallets or bags. Materials planned on the estimate are compared with materials used on each work order.
How does FieldCX help in the busy season?
The dispatch board shows capacity per crew member per day, marked as room, tight or full, with leave and time off on the board. The CSR sees open slots for the next seven days while the customer is on the phone.
Do we get photos of every job?
You can make before and after photos a required check, so a job can't be submitted to dispatch without them.
What does FieldCX cost for a landscaping company?
US$129 per month for each person who runs jobs in the field app and US$99 per month for every other user, such as office staff and helpers. Implementation is a one-time charge quoted for your setup. Prices exclude taxes.
